Highly Favored
Marquise Goodwin (left) and Robert Woods have a few things in common. Both are:
Dynamic wide receivers
Have played 10 years in the NFL (!!!)
Incredibly generous and talented people
Drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2013
Trusted me to make their personal logos
Creating logos for these two gentlemen were two of the coolest things I ever got to do. And seeing them use the logos to this day has been a humbling and rewarding feeling that I am extremely grateful for, as well as their friendship. Working in the NFL for two years opened many doors for me, but I never thought it would bring me friends like this.
Bobby Trees
A.K.A. Robert Woods, was born and raised in Los Angeles. He broke records at USC. So when he was signed by the Rams in 2017, it was a homecoming. I wanted to make him a logo that implemented “LA” with his initials, “RW.” The result is something we are both still excited about.
Two Sport Athlete
In 2012, Marquise Goodwin represented the USA in the Long Jump competition at the London Olympics. He was drafted into the NFL a year later. So when I designed his logo, I implemented that part of his journey into the design: a gold medal, used to make “MG.” Since then, Marquise has put the logo anywhere and everywhere. And for that, I’m flattered and grateful.
